About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for steering the commercial success and growth initiatives within the Food and Beverage sector, which encompasses a diverse range of businesses such as restaurants, coffee shops, bars, catering services, and delivery platforms. You will collaborate closely with the Head of F&B and Hospitality, working as a key member of the Commercial Strategy and Go-To-Market (GTM) team focused on acquiring new business opportunities while simultaneously nurturing and expanding existing client relationships across North America and Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). This position requires a strategic thinker who can translate market insights into actionable plans that drive vertical-specific adoption and retention. You will own the end-to-end commercial performance of the F&B line, ensuring that our solutions directly address the unique operational and customer engagement challenges of this sector. Your work will directly influence revenue streams and market penetration by identifying and pursuing high-value opportunities within the hospitality landscape. You are expected to act as a bridge between our product capabilities and the specific needs of F&B businesses, ensuring our value proposition remains compelling and differentiated. Success in this role will be measured by your ability to foster strong partnerships and deliver sustainable growth against ambitious commercial targets.

What you'll do
- Analyze the F&B market landscape to uncover strategic growth vectors and untapped business potential for our portfolio.
- Architect and own the end-to-end global commercial strategy for the vertical, translating business objectives into detailed GTM playbooks.
- Conduct rigorous competitive analyses to identify industry benchmarks and formulate data-driven business cases that justify strategic investments.
- Serve as the definitive subject matter expert on point-of-sale ecosystems, loyalty initiatives, and omnichannel sales strategies, including drive-thru, kiosk, and online ordering platforms.
- Establish and manage strategic ecosystem partnerships by analyzing customer behavior insights and aligning them with our product roadmap.
- Synthesize market trends and pricing strategies by working directly with the Product Offering team to relay critical packaging and feedback.
- Design and maintain sophisticated customer segmentation models to drive revenue growth while monitoring evolving regulatory changes and industry developments.
- Orchestrate collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the F&B vertical consistently meets its strategic goals and performance milestones.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators, adjusting commercial strategies in real-time to optimize business outcomes and profitability.
- Develop compelling narratives and executive-level reporting that highlight the vertical's performance and future opportunity areas.
- Lead the identification of new market segments and prioritize target accounts based on strategic fit and revenue potential.
- Spearhead the execution of product launches and initiatives within the F&B sector to ensure market penetration and adoption.
- Provide thought leadership and external representation of the F&B vertical during key industry interactions and stakeholder meetings.
- Mentor and guide junior team members to elevate the overall capability and execution of the commercial function.
Requirements
- Hold a minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in the F&B industry or closely related fields.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the Food and Beverage sector, specifically within areas such as restaurants, coffee shops, or vertical SaaS solutions.
- Possess proven expertise in payments or financial technology, with a robust understanding of industry dynamics and trends.
- Maintain a track record of developing data-driven strategies and effectively navigating complex business challenges.
- Have direct experience in crafting and executing go-to-market strategies that successfully drive business growth and market entry.
- Show excellent verbal communication skills, enabling you to influence internal stakeholders and represent the organization professionally to external partners.
- Exhibit the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing ambiguity and adapting swiftly to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Display a willingness to travel internationally up to 25% of the time for business purposes, including client meetings and industry events.
- Bring a history of accountability for profit and loss within a commercial or product management context.
- Demonstrate mastery in building relationships with key decision-makers across various organizational levels.
