What you'll do
Chart future offerings by analyzing market signals and customer behavior to define bold, viable concepts that address unmet enterprise needs. Architect go-to-market motions that align sales, marketing, and product teams around a unified narrative and shared commercial objectives. Translate raw customer feedback into prioritized product requirements that balance feasibility, regulatory constraints, and strategic ambition. Orchestrate cross-functional discovery sessions to validate ideas, test hypotheses, and reduce risk before significant build investment. Guide solution design through close collaboration with product managers and engineering specialists to ensure technical viability and user-centricity. Champion adoption by enabling commercial teams with battle-tested playbooks, compelling value stories, and clear competitive differentiators. Monitor performance metrics post-launch to identify optimization opportunities, inform iterative improvements, and shape subsequent innovation cycles. Build strong relationships with key partners to explore integration synergies and co-market opportunities that amplify our collective reach. Define the long- and short-term offering value proposition ("what we sell, to whom, and why") with precision and strategic clarity. Package, bundle, and scale Adyen's Enterprise Offering across verticals and regions to maximize reach and commercial efficiency.
Anticipate market shifts, such as multi-PSP setups and BNPL payment methods, and regulatory changes like SCA, to evolve offerings proactively and maintain competitive edge. Ensure all products meet strict readiness levels and customer expectations before scaling to protect brand integrity and commercial success. Work closely with vertical leads and commercial teams, and build direct customer relationships to inform strategy, trade-off decisions, and go-to-market execution with depth and accuracy. Identify cross-segment, cross-market, and cross-industry patterns in customer feedback to uncover systemic insights and hidden opportunities. Translate these patterns into clear, data-driven recommendations that guide roadmap decisions and resource allocation. Partner with product leadership and vertical leads to inform roadmap priorities, ensuring alignment between market demand and product capabilities. Run commercial discovery to incubate early innovations and ensure development drives tangible value creation and measurable ROI. Own the market adoption of your offering by taking full responsibility for end-to-end commercialization and go-to-market activities from conception to execution. Lead product deep-dives and vision-selling with key customers to articulate value, address objections, and secure buy-in at the executive level. Collaborate with vertical and regional commercial teams, product marketing, and commercial academy and enablement functions to elevate the quality of commercial interactions. Ensure global commercial teams are fully equipped with a clear and compelling offering for their segment and vertical, supported by robust tools and content.
Requirements
Bring eight or more years of experience spanning commercial strategy and product roles, demonstrating a track record of owning complex initiatives from concept to scale. Payments expertise is mandatory, with a demonstrated understanding of how payment products create business value for enterprise customers. Communicate complex concepts clearly, balancing executive-level storytelling with detailed operational logic to suit diverse stakeholder needs. Thrive in ambiguous environments, making sound decisions with incomplete data while maintaining rigorous analytical and operational standards. Partner closely with engineering and design to ensure roadmaps reflect realistic timelines, technical constraints, and desired outcomes for the enterprise customer. Demonstrate strong ownership and accountability, driving projects forward through proactive problem-solving and influence without direct authority. Show comfort with quantitative analysis, synthesizing data from multiple sources to validate assumptions and measure impact. Maintain a customer-obsessed mindset, consistently seeking direct feedback and translating insights into actionable product and commercial strategies.
Nice to have
Experience working with global enterprise customers in regulated industries, navigating compliance requirements and stakeholder expectations with confidence. Deep knowledge of payments infrastructure, settlement flows, and risk considerations to evaluate technical trade-offs and implications accurately.
