About the role
The Senior Product Manager, Credit and Data Platform will own the end-to-end strategy and execution for credit servicing and collections on the Adyen platform. You will architect automated workflows that govern credit applications and arrears management while ensuring seamless integration with Capital and Issuing product lines. This role demands an AI-first mindset to build intelligent, compliant financial products that scale across global markets. You will act as the central voice for credit and data initiatives, translating complex requirements into clear product specifications for cross-functional teams. What you'll do
Define the long-term vision and multi-year roadmap for credit servicing and collections on the Adyen platform.
Design and oversee automated workflows that manage credit application intake, risk assessment, and arrears resolution at scale.
Collaborate closely with Capital and Issuing teams to align product capabilities and ensure cohesive financial solutions.
Establish data and experimentation frameworks to measure scalability, operational efficiency, and customer impact.
Lead platform-scale execution by coordinating engineering, product, design, finance, operations, regulatory, and compliance stakeholders.
Develop success metrics and KPIs that track reliability, scalability, regulatory adherence, and business outcomes.
Orchestrate global launch activities to ensure new credit and data features deploy with stability and trust across regions.
Partner with Finance, Operations, Regulatory, and Compliance to maintain portfolio risk within policy and support strategic decisions.
Champion an AI-forward approach to product development, using intelligent systems to improve efficiency and customer outcomes.
Translate technical and regulatory complexity into clear narratives for internal and external audiences, including executives and partners.
Guide review cycles and governance processes to ensure product decisions are data-informed and aligned with business objectives.
Own the prioritization and sequencing of features to maximize value and operational efficiency across the credit lifecycle.
Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders using structured narratives and clear impact statements.
Balance strategic input with hands-on execution to deliver measurable improvements in credit servicing performance.
Maintain end-to-end accountability for the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with Adyen's unified platform strategy.
Requirements
Bring eight or more years of experience building high-scale platforms in fast-growing technology or fintech environments.
Include at least two years of direct experience in credit and arrears management within financial services or technology.
Operate comfortably in ambiguity, taking full ownership of outcomes without needing constant direction.
Translate technical complexity into clear customer impact for multiple segments, including corporate and commercial clients.
Possess strong product instincts and a data-based decision mindset that relies on evidence rather than intuition.
Focus on business outcomes and measurable impact, using metrics to validate product success and guide iterations.
Set vision and strategy for cross-functional teams, aligning engineering, finance, operations, and compliance around shared goals.
Communicate clearly with stakeholders across cultures, disciplines, and time zones, demonstrating empathy and influence.
Adhere to strict regulatory and compliance standards while driving innovation in credit and data products.

Practical information
The position is based in Amsterdam.
Full-time engagement is required.
Compensation ranges between 130,000 and 160,000 EUR.
Travel may be required within regions where Adyen operates.
