In this role, you will be at the forefront of driving growth within the Financial Services, Healthcare, and Professional Services sectors. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and address client needs by showcasing Adyen's comprehensive financial technology platform as a strategic solution to their challenges. You will oversee the entire sales process, from the initial outreach to the finalization of deals, ensuring a experience for clients.

What you'll do
- Lead efforts to generate revenue by identifying and developing new business opportunities, ultimately securing substantial enterprise contracts.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by leveraging your extensive knowledge of industry operations and business models to guide clients effectively.
- Identify challenges posed by fragmented financial systems and operational inefficiencies, demonstrating how Adyen's solutions can facilitate growth and streamline processes.
- Build and nurture relationships with senior leaders in finance, treasury, product, and operations, ensuring that Adyen's offerings align with their strategic goals.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Implementation, and Risk, to incorporate market insights into product development and strategic initiatives.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations that articulate the value of Adyen's technology to potential clients.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring that all terms align with both client expectations and Adyen's business objectives.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that resonate with potential clients in your sectors.
- Provide feedback to leadership on market dynamics and client needs to help shape future product offerings.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Participate in industry events and conferences to network and promote Adyen's brand and solutions.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in enterprise sales, particularly in B2B payments, fintech, or financial infrastructure.
- Proven expertise in one or more of the following sectors: Financial Services, Healthcare, or Professional Services.
- A track record of successfully identifying, pursuing, and closing high-value enterprise deals.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles that involve multiple stakeholders at the executive level.
- Strong ability to convey technical concepts in a way that highlights their business value to senior executives.
- Excellent collaborative skills, with a consultative approach to addressing client challenges.
- Flexibility in adapting to changing market conditions while consistently delivering results.
- Strong commercial acumen to prioritize opportunities that have the highest impact on the business.

Practical notes
- Compensation for this position includes an annual On-Target Earnings range of $330,000-$480,000, which encompasses both base salary and target commissions, along with Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). This compensation range is influenced by the candidate's experience, qualifications, and geographical location.

- The role requires a hybrid work arrangement, with a focus on in-person collaboration at our New York or San Francisco offices.
