Addepar is seeking a Senior People Business Partner to become a vital member of our Global People Team based in Pune. This role is crucial as we transition from a startup phase to a more structured enterprise within the wealth technology industry. The focus of this position is primarily strategic, aimed at refining HR practices to support our growth rather than handling routine administrative tasks.

What you'll do
- Act as the primary strategic HR partner for the Pune office, ensuring that performance management and organizational structure align with business objectives and regional expansion efforts.
- Offer coaching and support to local managers and directors, pinpointing areas for leadership development and enhancing executive presence along with decision-making capabilities.
- Facilitate collaboration across departments such as R&D, Go-To-Market, and General Administration, promoting a unified approach under the "One Addepar" philosophy.
- Manage employee relations by addressing grievances and conducting investigations while adhering to Indian labor regulations and maintaining confidentiality throughout the process.
- Analyze data to uncover operational inefficiencies and develop scalable solutions that lessen dependence on individual contributions.
- Tailor global HR initiatives to fit the cultural context of the APAC region, ensuring that local practices align with overarching global standards.
- Drive engagement initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture and enhance employee satisfaction.
- Collaborate with leadership to design and implement talent management strategies that support business goals and employee development.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in a People Business Partner capacity, ideally within a rapidly growing B2B SaaS, FinTech, or WealthTech organization.
- Comprehensive understanding of revenue generation in software companies, with the ability to align talent strategies with business performance metrics.
- Extensive knowledge of Indian employment legislation, coupled with a proven ability to handle sensitive employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong confidence in engaging with senior management, influencing strategic decisions, and advocating for long-term talent investments.
- High integrity and confidentiality, with a talent for building trust with both employees and executives.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where processes are still evolving, proactively identifying and addressing gaps in the employee experience.
- Familiarity with Workday or similar HR systems is advantageous.

Practical notes
- This role requires in-office presence in Pune three days a week as part of a hybrid working model.
