About the role
Addepar is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and results-oriented Manager to lead our Business Development Representatives (BDR) team. This role is in collaborating with various departments, including Sales, Strategy, and Go to Market teams, to uncover and cultivate revenue opportunities across targeted account segments. As a manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping a team that is focused on generating new business leads within the wealth management, family office, private banking, and global investment management industries.

What you'll do
- Develop and implement a structure for a high-performing business development team.
- Recruit, mentor, and enhance the capabilities of BDRs tasked with generating new business opportunities.
- Ensure the team is accountable for devising monthly and quarterly prospecting strategies aimed at opportunity creation.
- Track and analyze team performance to confirm that they meet established activity targets.
- Create and uphold monthly activity benchmarks for team members, providing results through a dashboard tailored to their assigned territories.
- Manage both inbound and outbound lead processes, ensuring timely and effective follow-up.
- Partner with the Demand Generation team to design and execute impactful lead generation campaigns.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by providing regular feedback and coaching to team members.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions and optimize team performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to align business development strategies with overall company goals.
- Prepare and present performance reports to senior management, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
- Stay informed about industry developments and best practices to enhance team effectiveness and drive results.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in demand marketing or similar roles such as Inside Sales Representative (ISR), Business Development Representative (BDR), or Sales Development Representative (SDR), with a proven track record in a SaaS Enterprise technology setting.
- At least 4 years of experience in a leadership capacity, with a successful history of scaling teams.
- Familiarity with the private banking and wealth management sectors is a plus.
- A strong work ethic combined with a proactive mindset, excellent problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills.
- A data-driven approach with the capability to adapt to shifting priorities and a strong sense of urgency.
- Effective communication skills, with an assertive style and a commitment to a "company first" mentality.
- Proficiency in Salesforce is essential.
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with the financial technology sector and its dynamics.
- Experience in developing training programs for sales teams.
- Previous involvement in strategic planning or business development initiatives.

- Expertise in Salesforce and other customer relationship management (CRM) platforms.

Practical notes
- The salary range for this position is between $139,000 and $218,000 (base salary), in addition to bonus and equity options, along with comprehensive benefits.
