About the role
Addepar is seeking a highly skilled Implementation Project Manager to join our Global Project Management team in the United States. This role is critical in overseeing the successful implementation of our enterprise and strategic client solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Solutions Architects, Consultants, and client stakeholders, to translate broad client goals into detailed project plans and actionable steps. As part of our expanding international operations, this position also involves refining and optimizing our implementation processes to better serve clients across different regions. The role requires a proactive, organized individual capable of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously while fostering clear communication and collaboration across diverse teams.

What you'll do
- Lead and oversee project teams through all phases of the implementation lifecycle, from initial client engagement and sales support to project closure and post-implementation review.
- Develop comprehensive project plans that include scope, schedule, resources, and budget, ensuring alignment with client expectations and internal standards.
- Apply and enforce project management methodologies, tools, and internal policies to maintain consistency and quality across all projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with executive sponsors, key clients, and internal team members to facilitate smooth communication and project success.
- Translate high-level client objectives into detailed, actionable project plans with clear milestones and deliverables.
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budget, proactively identifying risks and issues, and implementing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including plans, status reports, and change logs, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Collaborate closely with Solutions Architects and Consultants to ensure technical and functional aspects of the implementation are aligned with client needs and expectations.
- Lead client-facing meetings, including Steering Committee sessions with C-suite executives, to communicate project status, address concerns, and facilitate decision-making.
- Identify necessary changes or adjustments during project execution, evaluate their impact, and recommend appropriate actions to stakeholders.
- Capture lessons learned from each project and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the implementation team.
- Assist in refining and scaling the implementation process to support the company's international growth, ensuring best practices are adopted globally.
- Support the development of project documentation, including Statements of Work, project plans, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate with internal teams to allocate resources effectively and ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor project financials, including budget adherence and resource utilization, to ensure profitability and efficiency.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and new hires, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in project management, SaaS implementation, and financial services to continually enhance project delivery.
- Travel as necessary to client sites or internal offices to facilitate project meetings, workshops, or training sessions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in project management, with a minimum of 4 years specifically managing SaaS or enterprise software implementations.
- Proven experience leading complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including waterfall and agile approaches.
- Demonstrated ability to translate client requirements into detailed project plans and deliverables.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to and collaborate with executive-level stakeholders.
- Prior experience working directly with clients, understanding their operational frameworks and business needs.
- Knowledge of the operational frameworks of EMEA-based Wealth Management and Investment Advisory firms is a plus.
- Familiarity with project financials, including Statements of Work, budgeting, and resource planning.
- Experience in Financial Services, Technology Implementations, or Consulting is preferred.
- PMP certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support client implementations and internal meetings.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards.

- Familiarity with project management tools such as Monday.com, Jira, and Confluence.
- Knowledge of investment management software and related financial technology solutions.
- Experience working in international or multi-region project environments.
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory considerations relevant to financial services implementations.

Practical notes
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
- The salary range for this position is between $118,000 and $148,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Specific salary details will be discussed during the interview process.

- The position may require travel to client sites or internal offices as necessary to facilitate project success.
