About the role
Join our sales team to identify and qualify new business opportunities within our target market. You will act as a key contributor to our growth by engaging with enterprise prospects and evangelizing our Revenue AI platform. In this capacity, you will serve as the initial point of contact for strategic accounts, shaping the narrative around digital transformation and revenue optimization. You will be responsible for owning the front end of the sales pipeline, ensuring that every interaction moves the opportunity forward with clarity and purpose. This role demands a proactive mindset and the ability to translate complex platform capabilities into clear business outcomes for the customer. You will work closely with marketing and product teams to refine messaging and ensure alignment with market feedback. Success in this position is defined by your ability to build trust quickly and establish credibility with executive stakeholders. Key facts
What you'll do
- Generate new business opportunities to support company growth by identifying high-potential accounts.
- Build and prioritize lists of strategic target accounts within your assigned territory based on firmographic and technographic data.
- Execute outreach strategies including email campaigns, strategic calling, and deep contact research to initiate conversations with key stakeholders.
- Lead high-level discussions with senior executives at prospect organizations to uncover pain points and present tailored solutions.
- Meet monthly quotas for qualified opportunities and closed business to ensure consistent pipeline generation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather insights on competitive positioning and product differentiation.
- Utilize sales intelligence tools to map buying committees and identify economic buyers within target organizations.
- Qualify leads using established criteria to ensure efficient use of resources and focus on high-conversion opportunities.
- Document all customer interactions meticulously to maintain visibility and enable seamless handoffs to account managers.
- Participate in sales forecasting activities to provide accurate updates on pipeline health and revenue projections.
- Develop a deep understanding of the buyer's journey to optimize touchpoints and improve conversion rates over time.
- Represent the company at industry relevant virtual and in person events when appropriate to expand brand presence.
- Provide feedback to product and marketing teams based on direct customer interactions to inform future iterations.
- Maintain a high level of organization to manage multiple prospects and follow up promptly on all engagements.
- Demonstrate adaptability by adjusting strategies based on market response and evolving customer needs.
Requirements
- Ability to work from the Madison office at least 3 days per week to ensure collaboration and alignment with team objectives.
- Understanding of B2B enterprise marketing and sales landscapes to navigate complex organizational structures effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate value propositions and engage diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem solving abilities to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
- Self starting attitude with the drive to succeed in a fast paced environment where targets are met through discipline.
- Proven capability to work independently and take ownership of tasks without constant supervision.
- Willingness to adhere to the structured sales methodology and follow established processes rigorously.
- Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of customer data and adhering to company policies at all times.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in inside sales to leverage existing knowledge of remote engagement techniques.
- Background in enterprise prospecting to understand how to approach and influence large organizations.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university to demonstrate foundational knowledge and commitment to professional growth.
Practical notes
Base salary is $58,000, plus commission. Total compensation includes a bonus or commission plan and potential stock options.
