What you'll do
- Create and maintain high-quality, secure, and scalable client-side code that meets the needs of users and stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, provide accurate time estimates, and generate comprehensive reports to keep the team informed.
- Document technical requirements meticulously and ensure that all team members are aligned with the project's technical objectives.
- Adhere to established development methodologies to uphold quality standards throughout the software development process.
- Collaborate closely with designers and project managers to identify user needs and enhance product functionality based on feedback.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from the initial design phase to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve development processes and methodologies.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to enhance team collaboration.
- Engage in mentoring junior developers, sharing your expertise and helping them grow their skills in full stack development.
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation and user manuals to support end-users and future developers.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a full stack engineering role, demonstrating a strong foundation in both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Proficient in modern frameworks and languages, including Angular, React, Typescript, Node.js, Express, and Postgres.
- Proven experience in developing software systems that are medium to large in complexity, showcasing your ability to handle challenging projects.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, enabling you to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational database management, ensuring efficient data handling and storage.
- Experience in building applications that can scale effectively, addressing the needs of a growing user base.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal, to facilitate clear communication with team members and stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git, to manage code changes and collaborate with other developers effectively.
- A solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which will aid in managing project timelines and deliverables.
- Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, enhancing your ability to write modular and reusable code.
- Knowledge of HTTP protocols and data formats, including JSON and XML, to facilitate data exchange between systems.
- Experience with document databases, expanding your expertise in various data storage solutions.
- Familiarity with unit testing practices, ensuring that your code is robust and reliable before deployment.
