What you'll do

• Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to create comprehensive financial plans that align with company objectives.
• Develop and maintain financial models that support strategic initiatives, providing insights into revenue growth, cost management, and profitability.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, analyzing variances against budgets and forecasts to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support business cases for new projects, investments, and operational changes, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics, providing actionable insights to senior management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and systems, driving efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Support the finance team in ad-hoc analysis and special projects, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
• Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership, facilitating informed decision-making and strategic planning.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, maintaining the integrity of financial data and reporting.
• Mentor and develop junior finance staff, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth within the team.
• Participate in the evaluation of financial software and tools, recommending enhancements that improve reporting capabilities and user experience.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in financial planning and analysis, applying insights to optimize our financial strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within a corporate finance environment.
• Proficient in financial modeling and forecasting techniques, with a strong understanding of budgeting processes.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Strong proficiency in financial software and tools, including advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to maintaining high standards in financial reporting.
• Experience in mentoring and developing finance professionals is preferred.
