About the role

Zutacore is seeking a highly skilled Cloud & DevOps Expert to join our dynamic team located in Sderot. In this full-time position, you will play a role in enhancing our cloud infrastructure and optimizing our DevOps practices. This is an for someone who is about leveraging cloud technologies to drive efficiency and innovation within our organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure deployment and operation of applications in a cloud environment.

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Automate deployment processes and streamline operations through CI/CD pipelines, ensuring rapid and reliable software delivery.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle, enhancing collaboration and efficiency.
• Monitor system performance and reliability, proactively identifying and resolving issues to maintain optimal uptime and performance.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to ensure consistent and repeatable deployments.
• Implement security best practices across cloud environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to optimize resource usage and reduce costs.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Engage in troubleshooting and debugging of complex issues in cloud environments, utilizing logging and monitoring tools effectively.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and trends, recommending improvements and innovations to enhance our cloud strategy.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to cloud architecture, processes, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for production systems, ensuring quick resolution of incidents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud computing and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and experience with cloud services and architecture.
• Strong understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and process improvement.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI to support continuous integration and deployment.
• Knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet) to automate system configurations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to challenges.

Nice to have

• Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
• Experience with serverless architectures and microservices design patterns.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Knowledge of network security principles and practices in cloud environments.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
