Inside Sales Account Manager
Job description
About the role
You will own revenue growth and market share performance within your assigned portfolio of partners as the primary relationship owner. You will diagnose performance gaps, remove barriers to growth, and drive cross-functional alignment to unlock measurable results. This role requires you to increase applications, funded loans, and average loan size through disciplined performance management. You will represent Zippy's interests first while building trusted, long-term partnerships with operators and key stakeholders. You will ensure partners are fully enabled and operationally aligned to deliver a seamless borrower and retailer experience. Success in this position demands strong business judgment, commercial instinct, and a data-driven approach to managing your portfolio. You will serve as the main point of contact for clients, translating their feedback into structured internal advocacy.
Key facts
What you'll do
Own the full revenue metrics and market share position of your assigned portfolio while driving measurable growth in applications, funded loans, and average loan size. Identify, quantify, and execute against performance gaps and revenue opportunities within each account to maximize potential. Diagnose structural growth blockers such as product gaps, pricing constraints, state limitations, and operational friction, then escalate quantified impact to leadership for resolution. Forecast performance trends and proactively build action plans to achieve growth targets and defend share among assigned accounts. Serve as the primary relationship owner and trusted advisor for assigned clients, building strong, credible relationships with operators and key stakeholders. Expand revenue through strategic account development, onboarding new locations, and deepening product adoption across your portfolio. Lead proactive growth conversations rather than reactive support interactions to stay ahead of partner needs. Operate as the manager of your portfolio, accountable for growth, retention, and performance of assigned accounts with deep visibility into pipeline activity, funding trends, conversion rates, and unrealized potential. Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned to each partner's opportunity while ensuring partners are fully trained and aligned on Zippy's end-to-end process from marketing through funding. Track and report on key performance indicators including market share, application volume, funded volume, and revenue trends while maintaining accurate, actionable account and contact data in Salesforce. Use data to inform strategic decisions and prioritize time allocation to the highest value activities. Represent client insights internally while protecting Zippy's commercial interests and providing structured feedback on product gaps, operational inefficiencies, and revenue opportunities. Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve systemic issues and file-level friction that impacts performance and borrower experience. Maintain deep knowledge of Zippy's loan process, underwriting standards, technology, and funding requirements to serve as a trusted expert for clients and internal stakeholders. Continuously seek learning to strengthen commercial and operational effectiveness and stay current on best practices within the manufactured housing finance industry.
Requirements

You must be naturally personable, friendly, and able to build trust quickly with a wide range of stakeholders, including operators, retailers, and borrowers. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required, with the ability to navigate complex or difficult conversations professionally and constructively. You will need to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy in your work. A high level of comfort with Salesforce, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools is necessary to track performance and maintain accurate records. You must be able to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within a remote-first, cross-functional team. Reliability, integrity, and a commitment to following through on commitments are required to succeed in this role.
