About the role
This position is centered on establishing the foundational architecture for Zapier's enterprise account-based marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will architect and deploy targeted programs designed to penetrate key strategic accounts. Concurrently, they will assume full stewardship over the optimization of paid media operations and budget allocation. This role demands a strategic partnership with artificial intelligence, utilizing it as the central mechanism for planning, ideation, and execution. The individual will own the narrative and operational flow between marketing intent and enterprise revenue generation.

What you'll do
- Architect and deploy the end-to-end ABM strategy for designated enterprise accounts, covering granular segmentation, lifecycle journey mapping, and precision paid media execution.
- Design the organizational structure and operational workflow for ABM and paid media, leading the coordination of internal departments, external contractors, and specialized agencies.
- Forge strategic alignment with Demand Generation, Sales, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Product teams to collectively define account selection criteria and engagement milestones.
- Establish the definitive strategy, KPIs, and success metrics for ABM and paid initiatives, granting the team autonomous authority over daily campaign tactics, budget distribution, and channel optimization.
- Partner with Sales, RevOps, and Demand Generation leadership to formulate and refine the enterprise pipeline generation strategy.
- Develop deep collaborative relationships with Sales leadership and frontline representatives to ensure target account selection and engagement plans directly support overarching pipeline objectives.
- Oversee the performance and strategic direction of paid media agency relationships, defining clear targets, auditing output quality, and guaranteeing execution aligns with predefined pipeline goals.
- Create bespoke messaging frameworks, creative assets, audience targeting parameters, and campaign structures in conjunction with internal staff and external agency partners.
- Monitor, analyze, and iteratively improve account-level performance indicators including pipeline generation, opportunity creation, influenced revenue, average contract value, and pipeline velocity.
- Champion the implementation of AI-driven workflows and operational processes to facilitate rapid campaign experimentation, optimization cycles, and scalable expansion.
- Institutionalize ABM standard operating procedures and circulate best practices throughout the entire marketing organization.
- Function as the primary strategic owner for high-value enterprise accounts, ensuring marketing efforts translate into measurable pipeline and revenue contributions.
- Leverage data analytics to conduct post-campaign analyses, identifying root causes of performance variances and prescribing corrective actions for future initiatives.
- Act as the central communication hub for enterprise marketing activities, ensuring transparency and alignment across all relevant stakeholder groups.
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 6 years of professional experience specifically within Account-Based Marketing, enterprise demand generation, performance marketing, or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrate a consistent ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, RevOps, Demand Generation, and creative or agency partners regarding the development of target account lists and engagement methodologies.
- Provide documented evidence of successfully executing multi-touch ABM campaigns utilizing email, digital advertising, events, personalized outreach, and direct mail, with an unwavering focus on measurable return on investment.
- Exhibit a thorough understanding of account-level performance metrics such as engagement rates, pipeline influence, conversion rates, and apply a data-centric methodology for continuous campaign iteration.
- Have direct experience managing significant financial allocations for paid advertising and maintaining strategic relationships with agencies across both self-serve digital channels and enterprise-level platforms (paid search, paid social).
- Operate with an AI-first operational philosophy, actively employing AI tools such as LLMs, automation platforms, and AI-powered analytics to enhance speed, output quality, and overall efficiency, including providing concrete examples of internally built systems.
- Have prior experience leading and developing teams, managing both direct reports and external agencies or contractors, with a demonstrated interest in professional development and mentorship.
