About the role
You will own the end-to-end delivery of large-scale, enterprise-wide implementation projects for Zip's global customer base. In this capacity, you act as the central command for complex procurement transformations, ensuring that every engagement meets strict timelines, financial boundaries, and compliance standards. You will serve as a strategic advisor to executive sponsors, guiding them through intricate deployment scenarios with clarity and confidence. Your daily work will revolve around orchestrating cross-functional alignment between client teams and internal stakeholders to remove blockers and maintain momentum. You will establish and monitor rigorous governance frameworks, translating high-level requirements into actionable plans that mitigate risk throughout the project lifecycle. Ultimately, you will be responsible for driving projects from initial discovery through hypercare, ensuring successful adoption and long-term value realization for Zip's most strategic enterprise clients.

What you'll do
- Orchestrate end-to-end implementation lifecycles for complex enterprise customers, spanning initial Planning and Design, Configuration, Testing, Launch, and Hypercare phases.
- Establish and maintain comprehensive project governance, including detailed schedules, critical path analysis, and RAID logs to ensure strict milestone adherence.
- Coordinate and align vast, cross-functional enterprise teams, including customer champions, system administrators, business leads from Legal, Security, IT, and Procurement, along with third-party implementation partners.
- Lead executive-level engagement by setting rigorous communication cadences, facilitating steering committee meetings, and delivering strategic status updates to project sponsors and corporate executives.
- Scope and manage technical and integration dependencies, covering identity provider configurations such as SSO and SCIM, and connections to third-party applications and custom ERP touchpoints.
- Define and enforce clear entry and exit criteria for testing phases, overseeing System Integration Testing (SIT) and guiding customer teams through structured User Acceptance Testing (UAT) lifecycles.
- Architect detailed cutover and production readiness plans, including environment data cleanups and final production synchronization strategies to ensure low-risk, clean go-live events.
- Lead post-launch Hypercare operations, actively monitoring system adoption, resolving deployment friction points, and managing a smooth transition to steady-state ownership under Customer Success.
- Drive change management initiatives that support user adoption and process optimization across the client's enterprise procurement organization.
- Conduct proactive risk management and issue resolution, ensuring that all project activities remain aligned with organizational compliance policies and quality standards.
- Collaborate with solutions architects and technical teams to validate integration requirements and resolve complex technical scenarios during implementation.
- Utilize data-driven insights to monitor project health, forecast timelines, and adjust resource allocation to meet demanding enterprise commitments.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with executive sponsors, building trust and credibility through consistent delivery and transparent communication.
- Support the professional services practice in developing best practices, playbooks, and knowledge transfer materials for future engagements.
- Act as a subject matter expert on procurement technology landscapes, contributing to thought leadership and client advisory discussions.
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience leading enterprise-wide software deployments, ideally within global organizations, as a Project Manager, ERP Project Manager, or PMO Lead.
- Demonstrate deep domain knowledge of large-scale enterprise financial, ERP, or Procure-to-Pay system implementations, such as NetSuite, SAP, Workday, Oracle EBS, or Coupa.
- Show mastery of rigorous project management methodologies, corporate governance structures, change control procedures, and risk-mitigation strategies.
- Exhibit exceptional client-facing communication skills, with a proven ability to influence executive decision-making, manage difficult personalities, and establish alignment with senior leadership.
- Display strong expertise in managing testing cycles, including System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing, as well as data migration planning and cutover coordination.
- Hold a post-secondary degree or equivalent practical experience combined with recognized project management certifications such as PMP or Prince2, which are highly preferred.
- Thrive in fast-paced, scaling environments, demonstrating extreme attention to detail, proactive ownership, and adaptability to evolving priorities.
- Be comfortable managing multiple concurrent workstreams and making sound decisions under pressure with limited supervision.
- Have experience working closely with procurement, finance, and IT stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements.
- Show commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive enterprise information with the utmost professionalism.
Nice to have
- Preferred candidates will have prior experience working directly with procurement technology platforms and enterprise procurement leaders.
- Experience working with AI-driven procurement or automation platforms will be viewed favorably.
- Background working alongside global procurement organizations in highly regulated industries is a distinct advantage.
