About the role
You will own the end-to-end implementation lifecycle for large enterprise clients entering the Greater China market, acting as the primary architect of their onboarding success. In this capacity, you are responsible for translating complex business requirements into structured, executable implementation roadmaps that drive timely and high-quality delivery. You will lead the coordination of cross-functional internal teams, including Sales, Product, Engineering, and Compliance, to ensure alignment with client expectations and regulatory standards. This role requires you to manage intricate API integrations, payment method configurations, and system adaptations with precision and attention to detail. You will proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while maintaining clear and consistent communication with stakeholders across Greater China. The position demands a blend of strategic planning and hands-on technical collaboration to guide clients through best practices and enablement sessions. Ultimately, you are accountable for facilitating a seamless transition from post-sale handover to long-term operational ownership, ensuring clients achieve their growth objectives on the Xendit platform.

What you'll do
Orchestrate end-to-end implementation projects for large enterprise clients, translating business needs into actionable technical and operational plans.
Conduct deep discovery sessions with enterprise stakeholders to map payment flows, operational workflows, and compliance requirements specific to Greater China.
Develop detailed implementation timelines, resource plans, and risk registers, ensuring alignment with client business objectives and internal milestones.
Configure and test payment APIs, webhook integrations, and settlement rules to match intricate client transaction models and settlement preferences.
Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product teams to translate technical specifications into client-friendly documentation and validation checklists.
Lead cross-functional coordination sessions with Sales, Compliance, and Support to resolve blockers and maintain adherence to strict project timelines.
Serve as the central communication hub for enterprise clients, managing expectations and providing status updates to senior stakeholders across multiple regions.
Design and deliver training and enablement programs for client operations and finance teams to ensure confident post-go-live system ownership.
Monitor implementation quality through rigorous validation testing, user acceptance testing phases, and performance metrics before go-live sign-off.
Establish clear post-go-live ownership frameworks, including support escalation paths, continuous improvement initiatives, and periodic business reviews.
Leverage domain knowledge in payments and fintech to advise clients on optimizing payment success rates, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance.
Utilize project management tools and methodologies to track dependencies, manage changing requirements, and document all implementation artifacts thoroughly.
Build long-term strategic relationships with client stakeholders, positioning Xendit as a trusted advisor in their digital transformation journey across Southeast Asia and Greater China.
Contribute to internal process improvements by capturing lessons learned and best practices to enhance future implementation delivery and client satisfaction.
Requirements
You possess 5-8 years of professional experience in onboarding, implementation, or project management roles within B2B SaaS, fintech, or payments environments.
You have a proven track record of successfully leading end-to-end enterprise implementations from initial handover through to stable go-live and post-live optimization.
You demonstrate strong project management capabilities, including the ability to manage complex timelines, dependencies, risks, and multiple stakeholders concurrently.
You have hands-on experience working with APIs, system integrations, or technical product implementations, enabling you to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
You can translate technical concepts into clear client communications and guide non-technical stakeholders through complex implementation scenarios.
You have demonstrated ability to engage and manage enterprise clients, handling intricate requirements, escalations, and interactions with senior-level decision makers.
You are experienced in working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams to drive cohesive client outcomes.
You are proficient in business-level English and Mandarin, ensuring effective communication and relationship building with Greater Chinese clients.
You exhibit a high level of ownership and accountability, thriving in fast-paced, high-growth environments where ambiguity is common and initiative is essential.
Nice to have
Prior experience in payments, fintech, or financial infrastructure, particularly involving APIs, payment flows, or regulated environments.
Previous experience supporting or onboarding enterprise clients within Greater China, including Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
A background in consulting, system integration, or professional services, with exposure to structured project delivery methodologies and frameworks.
Familiarity with project management frameworks such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall, and proficiency with tools like Jira, Asana, or Notion.
Demonstrated ability to manage multi-market or cross-border implementation projects, navigating varying regulatory landscapes and stakeholder expectations.
Practical notes
This engagement requires flexibility for work hours to coordinate with clients and teams across different time zones in Greater China and Southeast Asia.
Travel may be required to client sites or regional offices within the specified locations, subject to business needs and local regulations.
Compliance with local visa regulations and work authorization is mandatory for all assigned locations.
