About the role
Xendit is on the lookout for a seasoned professional to spearhead the management and enhancement of the company's reputation among diverse audiences, including customers, regulators, employees, and the media. This role is centered around fostering trust through coherent and consistent messaging as Xendit expands its footprint across Southeast Asia, Greater China, and Latin America. You will be responsible for steering executive communications, navigating high-stakes scenarios, and ensuring that the company's narrative aligns with its ambitious goals in the payments infrastructure sector.

What you'll do
- Develop and articulate the corporate narrative as Xendit ventures into new markets, ensuring it resonates with various stakeholders.
- Transform intricate fintech and payment solutions into engaging and easily understandable stories that appeal to a broad audience.
- Ensure message uniformity across different regions, communication channels, and stakeholder demographics to maintain a cohesive brand image.
- Create proactive reputation management strategies and prepare the organization for potential sensitive or high-profile challenges.
- Lead the response to crises and manage issues with a calm and informed approach, ensuring the company is well-prepared for any eventualities.
- Collaborate closely with senior executives to craft keynote speeches, thought leadership pieces, media interviews, customer presentations, and internal communications.
- Build and nurture long-lasting relationships with journalists in business, finance, and technology sectors across Asia and beyond.
- Enhance Xendit's visibility through strategic storytelling, executive profiles, success stories from customers, research insights, and participation in speaking engagements.
- Design and implement internal communication initiatives that effectively connect employees with the company's mission, strategic objectives, and performance metrics.
- Facilitate communications with customers, partners, regulatory bodies, government entities, and industry associations to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Work alongside the People and Talent Acquisition teams to bolster the employer brand and attract top-tier talent to the organization.
Requirements
- A minimum of 12 to 15 years of experience in corporate communications, public affairs, executive communications, or reputation management.
- Proven experience in developing communication strategies within high-growth technology firms, particularly in fintech, financial services, or enterprise software.
- Outstanding writing, storytelling, and editorial skills, with a keen sense of narrative development.
- A successful track record of advising senior leaders on strategic communication initiatives.
- Demonstrated capability to navigate complex, high-profile, or sensitive situations effectively.
- Extensive knowledge of media landscapes and communication practices throughout Asia.
- Experience working in diverse countries, cultures, and with various stakeholder groups.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to simplify complex concepts into clear and engaging narratives.
