About the role
This role is situated within the Global FinCrime Product Compliance and Risk team, serving as a crucial link between product innovation and regulatory obligations. You will play a key role in developing and enhancing Know Your Customer (KYC) initiatives for both consumer and business accounts, ensuring that our financial offerings adhere to compliance standards while providing an optimal user experience.

What you'll do
- Spearhead the creation, development, and implementation of KYC controls tailored for our diverse global clientele.
- Improve customer onboarding processes and operational workflows to facilitate business expansion.
- Analyze performance data to evaluate the effectiveness of current controls and oversee testing initiatives.
- Collaborate with product teams to prioritize and enact enhancements to compliance controls.
- Develop and implement project plans to address issues identified in audits or assessments by third parties.
- Conduct regular assessments of compliance controls to ensure they meet changing regulations and industry benchmarks.
- Contribute to the annual financial crime risk evaluation by mapping and assessing existing controls.
- Support the introduction of new products by ensuring compliance considerations are integrated from the minimum viable product (MVP) phase.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in anti-money laundering (AML), particularly in KYC advisory and control mechanisms.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with product and engineering teams to establish financial crime prevention controls.
- Experience in automating processes related to financial crime compliance.
- Strong analytical skills, particularly in data analysis.
- Excellent project management and coordination skills.
- Effective communication abilities, capable of articulating complex concepts to diverse teams.
- High integrity and sound professional judgment.
- Ability to navigate challenges and a proactive approach to questioning established processes.

- Professional certifications such as CAMS, ICA, or equivalent credentials.
