About the role
In this position, you will take charge of a newly formed product engineering team dedicated to the Wise Platform. Your main objective will be to steer the strategic development and expansion of our embedded finance offerings for significant partners, including industry leaders such as Google, Deel, Ramp, and Agoda. This role is pivotal in shaping how we deliver financial solutions to our partners, ensuring that they meet the diverse needs of their customers.

What you'll do
- Create and refine the product roadmap specifically for Online Platforms and Marketplaces, ensuring that our partners can offer top-notch international payment solutions.
- Engage directly with customers by participating in commercial discussions, allowing you to gather insights and convert market demands into practical product features.
- Lead a diverse, cross-functional team that includes members from sales, marketing, delivery, compliance, and operations to ensure successful product launches and implementations.
- Collaborate with various internal departments, such as financial crime prevention, customer support, and other product teams like KYC, Pay-in, and Send, to seamlessly integrate existing functionalities into the platform.
- Exercise complete autonomy over the vision and execution of your designated product area, driving innovation and efficiency.
- Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to inform product development and enhance our competitive edge.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and support for product initiatives.
- Monitor product performance metrics and user feedback to continuously improve and iterate on product features and offerings.
- Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions to foster creativity and collaboration within the team.
- Prepare and present product updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, showcasing the impact of your initiatives.
- Advocate for user-centric design principles, ensuring that the end-user experience is at the forefront of product development.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in product management, particularly in scaling technical products within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to independently manage and prioritize a product roadmap.
- Proven track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams that include both commercial and technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with integrating financial infrastructure into third-party platforms, enhancing the overall user experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.
- Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting data to drive informed product decisions.

- Experience in the fintech sector or with embedded finance solutions, providing a deeper understanding of the market landscape.
- Previous involvement in launching products that cater to international markets, showcasing adaptability to diverse regulatory environments.
