About the role
The Vice President Space, Defense & National Security Growth will develop and execute near and long-term growth strategies and campaigns to drive business opportunities in alignment with Annual Operating Plan objectives and Long-Range Strategic Plan goals. They will create, advance, and win recurring business with new and existing customers while driving bookings (sales) and increasing revenue. This role will position Voyager as a key enabler of NASA initiatives and for robust growth in alignment with financial objectives. The Vice President will engage customers from across the Agency, Industrial Base, and commercial market to position Voyager to empower current and emerging requirements. They will foster an entrepreneurial growth culture throughout the company and across all teams and work functions. Further, they will engage customers and vendors to understand and shape pre-solicition efforts.

What you'll do
Develops and executes near and long-term growth strategies/campaigns to drive business opportunities in alignment with Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Strategic Plan objectives to meet or exceed AOP Bookings.
Maintains a detailed understanding of customer missions, requirements, and gaps to inform solution positioning and capture planning.
Builds and maintains strong relationships with key customers, vendors, and partners to enable sustainable business development.
Tracks emerging markets and trends; proposes and develops solutions including new offerings or strategic partnerships to address evolving competition, pricing, and demand.
Empowers lines of business and collaborates with technology development teams, product development teams, finance, marketing, and other Voyager stakeholders to yield sustainable long-term business growth.
Fosters an entrepreneurial growth culture throughout the company and across all teams and work functions to enable scalable opportunity realization.
Engages customers and vendors to understand and shape pre-solicition efforts while fulfilling requests for information (RFI), requests for proposals (RFP), and other partner and customer requests.
Supports and improves Capture, Bid, and Proposal processes while managing within Budget and Pricing parameters.
Maintains a mission-enablement focused pipeline generation and reporting cadence to ensure visibility and forecast integrity.
Champions Voyager capabilities within NASA, Industrial Base, and commercial market segments to influence perception and drive demand.
Leverages deep market intelligence to inform go-to-market decisions and strategic account plans.
Owns the end-to-end business development lifecycle for critical initiatives in support of organizational objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or management fields; master's degree in business administration or engineering preferred.
12+ years' experience building capabilities, supporting, and/or executing NASA enablement efforts or operations.
10+ years' experience working with, supporting, and/or executing business development with the U.S. Government and/or Prime Contractors.
Experience executing corporate-level business development activities, including briefing executive leadership.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate with prospective customers and clients, partners, vendors, and the press.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government Security clearance.
Nice to have
Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time to meet business objectives.
Active Top Secret or Top Secret/SCI with polygraph.

U.S. Person as defined by export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), is required for this role. Applicants must be eligible to obtain any required export authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or the U.S. Department of Commerce.
