About the role
You will develop and execute near and long-term growth strategies and business development plans to drive business opportunities in alignment with Annual Operating Plan objectives and Long-Range Strategic Plan goals. You will create, advance, and win recurring business with new and existing customers while driving bookings (sales) to increase revenue and position the business for robust growth in alignment with financial objectives. You will specifically strive to position Voyager as a key enabler of USSF, empowering DoW-wide network, intelligence, and weapon system solutions. You will engage customers across the Department of War, US Space Force, Intelligence Community, and Defense Industrial Base to position Voyager to empower current and emerging mission requirements.

What you'll do
Develop and execute near and long-term growth strategies/campaigns to drive business opportunities in alignment with Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Strategic Plan objectives to meet or exceed AOP Bookings.
Maintain a detailed understanding of customer missions, requirements, and gaps to inform solution positioning and value propositions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, vendors, and partners to foster collaboration and trust.
Track emerging markets and trends; propose and develop solutions including new offerings or strategic partnerships to address evolving competition, pricing, and demand.
Empower lines of business and collaborate with technology development, product development, finance, marketing, and other Voyager stakeholders to yield sustainable long-term business growth.
Foster an entrepreneurial growth culture throughout the company and across all teams and work functions to encourage innovation and execution.
Engage customers and vendors to understand and shape pre-solicition efforts; fulfill requests for information (RFI), requests for proposals (RFP), and other partner and customer requests.
Support and improve Capture, Bid, and Proposal (CBP) processes while managing within B&P budget constraints.
Maintain a mission-enablement focused pipeline generation and reporting cadence to ensure visibility and forecast accuracy.
Champion Voyager's value proposition within the national security and defense ecosystems to ensure relevance in critical mission areas.
Leverage deep market intelligence to anticipate customer needs and align Voyager's capabilities accordingly.
Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on growth opportunities and market positioning.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or management fields; master's degree in business administration or engineering preferred.
15+ years' experience building capabilities, supporting, and/or executing mission enablement efforts or operations.
10+ years' experience working with, supporting, and/or executing business development with the U.S. Government and/or Prime Contractors.
Experience executing corporate-level business development activities, including briefing executive leadership.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate with prospective customers and clients, partners, vendors, and the press.
Must have a current Top Secret DoD Secret Clearance.
Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time to meet business objectives.
Practical notes
The good faith base salary range for this role is $225,000-$275,000 at the time of this posting. Where you fall within the range depends on your experience, skills, and location. This range reflects base salary only and does not include benefits or bonus/incentive. This range may be adjusted in the future.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
