What you'll do
- Lead the product management lifecycle for virtualization and cloud products, from ideation to launch and beyond, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to define product specifications and prioritize features based on market research and user feedback.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that reflects strategic priorities and timelines for product releases.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats within the virtualization and cloud landscape.
- Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather insights and validate product concepts, ensuring that the final offerings meet market demands.
- Monitor product performance post-launch, utilizing analytics and user feedback to iterate and improve product features and functionality.
- Facilitate cross-departmental communication to ensure all teams are informed and aligned on product objectives and timelines.
- Represent Virtuozzo at industry events, conferences, and webinars to promote our products and gather insights from the broader market.
- Mentor and guide junior product managers and team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry trends in virtualization and cloud computing, integrating relevant insights into product strategy.
- Manage the product budget and resource allocation to ensure efficient use of company assets in product development.
- Prepare and present product updates and strategic recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, specifically in virtualization, cloud computing, or related technology sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing technology products throughout their lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of cloud architectures, virtualization technologies, and related market dynamics.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
- Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with product management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.

- Understanding of software development processes and methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
