As the Strategy & Operations Manager, you will lead a talented group of Analysts, ensuring the accuracy of our data while creating a nurturing environment that promotes growth and achievement.

What you'll do
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of Data Analysts, promoting a high-performance culture that values excellence.
- Manage the data strategy and quality assurance for your assigned region, guaranteeing reliability for millions of users accessing our web and mobile applications daily.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to synchronize goals and implement significant improvements.
- Play a key role in the development of team tools, workflows, and automation processes, collaborating with engineers to build scalable systems.
- Examine intricate datasets to extract actionable insights that guide decision-making and improve the user experience.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on objectives and initiatives.
- Utilize data-driven approaches to identify opportunities for operational enhancements and efficiency gains.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, translating complex data into understandable insights that drive strategic decisions.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in team management and development, emphasizing coaching, constructive feedback, and fostering a supportive workplace culture.
- At least 4 years of experience in operational, technical, product, or cross-functional roles, with a proven ability to navigate ambiguity and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in engaging with data and product-related responsibilities, with the capability to comprehend complex issues and build trust with technical teams.
- Strong project management abilities, adept at structuring complex initiatives, juggling multiple priorities, and balancing detailed execution with broader objectives.
- Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to establish trust across different functions and engage in meaningful discussions with engineering, product, and business teams.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement in processes and outcomes.
Nice to have
- Experience with data analysis tools, Python programming, and familiarity with common transit data formats such as GTFS, TransXChange, SIRI, and HAFAS is a plus, though not mandatory. A genuine curiosity and eagerness to learn are highly appreciated.
- Previous exposure to urban mobility or transportation sectors can provide valuable context for this role.
- Understanding of user experience design principles and how they relate to data-driven decision-making.

- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools to interpret and present data effectively.
- Familiarity with project management software to track progress and manage timelines efficiently.
- Experience in web and mobile product environments, understanding the nuances of user interaction and experience.

- The salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $115,000, with total compensation that includes equity options. The final salary will be determined based on your experience and skill set.
