About the role
Verkada is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to support the Hardware Engineering organization in Taipei, marking a critical addition to the team responsible for sourcing and nurturing technical talent. This position owns the end-to-end coordination of the interview lifecycle for hardware engineering candidates, ensuring that every interaction reflects the company's high standards of professionalism and care. You will manage complex scheduling across multiple time zones while maintaining a detailed and accurate overview of each candidate's progress through the hiring funnel. The role requires close collaboration with both recruiters and hiring managers to remove obstacles from the interview process and uphold a consistently positive candidate experience. You will serve as the primary organizer of all logistical components, from initial phone screens to final in-person sessions within the Taipei office. This position owns the integrity of candidate data by maintaining precise records in recruiting platforms and ensuring all information is current and accessible. You will also play a key role in onboarding and offer coordination, supporting new hires from acceptance through their successful integration into the Verkada team. By analyzing recurring challenges in the hiring workflow, you will contribute directly to the continuous improvement of recruiting efficiency and quality.

What you'll do
Coordinate interview logistics and scheduling for hardware engineering roles across global time zones, ensuring seamless alignment between candidates, recruiters, and hiring teams.
Arrange phone screens, virtual interviews, and in-person assessments while managing the necessary technical setups and calendar systems for each stage.
Serve as the main point of contact for candidates throughout their interview process at the Taiwan office, providing clear directions and timely updates.
Collaborate closely with recruiters and hiring managers to confirm interview details, assess feedback, and adjust schedules to meet urgent hiring needs.
Maintain candidate records in Greenhouse and other recruiting platforms, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal standards.
Assist in the preparation of offer documentation and support onboarding coordination, including new hire paperwork and facility arrangements in Taipei.
Support the planning and execution of recruiting events, university career fair participation, and internship program activities in the Taiwan region.
Identify bottlenecks in the current recruiting workflow and propose actionable solutions to increase efficiency, reduce delays, and improve candidate flow.
Provide administrative support to recruiters by conducting sourcing projects, updating talent pools, and helping build diverse pipelines for future hiring needs.
Monitor interview feedback and coordinate rescheduling or follow-up communications to keep the hiring process moving smoothly for all parties.
Ensure that all logistical aspects of the interview process, including room bookings, equipment checks, and communication confirmations, are handled proactively.
Assist in tracking recruitment metrics and reporting to support data-driven decisions on hiring strategies and resource allocation in Taipei.
Help manage special projects related to campus recruiting, referral programs, and internal mobility initiatives as requested by the hiring team.
Act as a backup resource for interview coordination during peak hiring periods to maintain consistent support for recruiters and managers.
Requirements
Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, demonstrating foundational knowledge and the ability to manage complex administrative tasks.
Exhibit exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese to interact effectively with candidates and internal stakeholders.
Show the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of focus and attention to detail.
Maintain a positive attitude and a strong commitment to customer service, ensuring that candidates and recruiters receive responsive and supportive assistance.
Be comfortable learning new systems, technologies, and recruiting methodologies to adapt quickly to evolving tools and processes.
Be prepared to work onsite full-time at the Taiwan office, with consistent availability during standard business hours and interview schedules.
Demonstrate reliability and professionalism in handling confidential information and sensitive hiring matters with discretion.
