Senior Frontend Engineer
Job description
About the role
Join the Alarms team to develop user interfaces for Verkada's AI-powered intrusion detection and video monitoring systems. You will work in a startup-like environment to build real-time security tools such as maps, alerts, and timelines. In this capacity, you will own the frontend implementation of critical user workflows that directly impact how customers monitor and secure their environments. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional partners to translate product requirements into high-quality, production-ready user interfaces. You will guide technical strategy while mentoring engineering staff and elevating the frontend practice across the organization. This position involves significant responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of features that affect both operator efficiency and user trust. You will contribute hands-on coding across the stack, including backend API work and full-stack tasks where necessary. The successful candidate will help define and maintain the frontend architecture that powers Verkada's security operations at scale.
