Senior Frontend Engineer
Job description
About the role
In this role, you will join a small, autonomous team functioning like a startup within Verkada, collaborating closely with firmware, backend, and frontend engineers to build the future of cloud-managed access control. You will take ownership of product concepts from the initial idea through final delivery, ensuring the user experience is consistently high quality. Your work will focus on building intuitive interfaces rather than just implementing isolated features, requiring a deep understanding of user needs. You will solve complex technical problems on a fast-paced product line that operates in a dynamic environment. The position demands strong cross-functional communication to align with the needs of security professionals using these systems. You will be responsible for the architecture of custom UI components that are robust and maintainable across different contexts. This role requires mastery of the frontend stack to ensure seamless cross-browser compatibility and performance. Your contributions will directly impact how security personnel monitor doors, schedules, and credentials from any location.
