What you'll do

• Act as the main finance liaison for senior executives across various departments, ensuring alignment on financial objectives.
• Oversee the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, to enhance financial predictability and transparency.
• Conduct in-depth analyses and develop actionable insights to optimize resource allocation and improve operational efficiency.
• Lead initiatives aimed at scaling the business by refining internal processes, enhancing tools, and implementing self-service automation solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify financial risks and opportunities, providing strategic recommendations to mitigate risks.
• Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to senior management, translating complex data into understandable insights.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, ensuring they are efficient and aligned with business goals.
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc analyses as needed, contributing to the overall strategic direction of the company.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Strategic Finance, Business Operations, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), or similar analytical roles in high-growth startups, investment banking, management consulting, or investment firms.
• Proficient in constructing structured financial models and adept at converting business concepts into actionable data insights.
• Strong attention to detail, coupled with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively based on strategic importance.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective collaboration across various teams.
• Must possess authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SQL or foundational database concepts that can enhance data analysis capabilities.
• Experience utilizing modern Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Looker or Pigment to drive insights and reporting.
• Previous exposure to pre-IPO environments or understanding of the IPO process would be beneficial.

Practical notes

• The total annual on-target earnings (OTE) for this position range from $125,000 to $150,000 USD.
• Compensation may include equity components, specifically in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
