About the role
Verkada is seeking an experienced sales professional to join one of our three mid-market teams based at our London office near Old Street. You will manage a 360-degree sales cycle, focusing on acquiring new logos while utilizing marketing and channel resources to build your pipeline. In this capacity, you will act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of strategic accounts, ensuring that every interaction aligns with the broader organizational objectives of growth and retention. You will leverage data-driven insights to identify key stakeholders and tailor value propositions that resonate with the specific security and operational challenges faced by modern businesses. The role requires a proactive mindset that balances short-term deal execution with the long-term cultivation of trust and credibility within the market. You will be expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, taking ownership of your territory and the outcomes you generate. Key facts
What you'll do
- Source and qualify new leads to construct a robust pipeline that feeds a continuous flow of high-opportunity engagements.
- Conduct in-depth product demonstrations and oversee trial implementations to showcase the full capabilities of the Verkada platform.
- Negotiate and close complex deals by navigating multi-stakeholder environments and addressing objections with data-backed reasoning.
- Travel to meet with clients and partners to foster face-to-face relationships and deepen the strategic nature of your partnerships.
- Analyze customer usage patterns to identify expansion opportunities and drive increased adoption across existing client organizations.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to build business cases that justify significant investments in Verkada's integrated security ecosystem.
- Maintain precise records of all customer interactions and forecast data to ensure transparency and support accurate revenue predictions.
- Develop and execute account plans that outline specific touchpoints, value drivers, and success metrics for each target account.
- Represent Verkada at industry events and conferences to elevate brand awareness and establish thought leadership in the physical security space.
- Utilize feedback from the field to inform product development and refine messaging for future go-to-market initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience exceeding sales quotas at a B2B technology vendor.
- Proven history of closing self-sourced deals and acquiring net new logos without reliance on pre-qualified leads.
- Proficiency in managing complex sales cycles and utilizing a formal deal qualification framework to guide opportunities.
- Demonstrated understanding of your own daily operating rhythm and the discipline required to maintain productivity without direct supervision.
- Ability to work onsite in the London office 5 days per week to ensure consistent collaboration with the team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills capable of articulating sophisticated solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
- A results-oriented mentality that thrives on achieving and surpassing aggressive revenue targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to adhere to the company's code of conduct and uphold the standards of integrity expected of Verkada representatives.

- Compensation includes a generous ramp period, monthly commission on full TCV, and uncapped accelerators for exceeding quarterly quotas.
