What you'll do

• Lead the design process for web and mobile applications, ensuring a user experience across all platforms.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights that inform design decisions and improve product usability.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows.
• Collaborate with product managers to define user requirements and translate them into functional design specifications.
• Work closely with developers during the implementation phase to ensure design fidelity and address any technical constraints.
• Develop and maintain a design system that promotes consistency across all products and enhances the overall brand identity.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design, applying this knowledge to enhance our design processes.
• Mentor junior designers, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth and development.
• Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, effectively communicating the value of design in achieving business objectives.
• Analyze user feedback and metrics to iterate on designs, ensuring continuous improvement of the user experience.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and final products.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar applications.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, with experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in an agile development environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus, as it will help in understanding the technical aspects of design implementation.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring high-quality design outputs.

Nice to have

• Experience in the cybersecurity industry or related fields, providing insight into user needs and challenges.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices, ensuring that designs are inclusive for all users.
• Knowledge of data visualization techniques, enhancing the presentation of complex information in user interfaces.
• Experience with motion design or animation, adding an engaging layer to user interactions.

Skills & tools

• Proficient in design software including Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, and InVision.
• Familiar with prototyping tools such as Axure or Marvel.
• Strong understanding of user research methodologies and analytics tools to inform design decisions.
• Knowledge of front-end development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to facilitate collaboration with development teams.

Practical notes

• This position is based in Les Berges du lac 2, TUNIS, and is offered on a contract basis.
• The salary for this role will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in Tunisia; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
