About the role
You will architect and lead end-to-end content operating model transformations for life sciences customers, directly impacting how organizations create, validate, and distribute critical information. You will partner closely with executive sponsors to define a future-state vision that aligns technology, data strategy, and AI adoption with measurable business outcomes. This role requires you to synthesize complex client challenges into a clear roadmap, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on delivery to ensure successful implementation. You will leverage Veeva's industry cloud to design scalable processes, including AI-enhanced tier-based MLR workflows and modular content frameworks. Your work will focus on reshaping content creation strategy and refining operating models to drive efficiency and speed to market. You will establish rigorous measurement frameworks to quantify tangible business value and demonstrate the ROI of transformation initiatives. This position demands strong leadership to guide cross-functional teams through cultural and operational change. You will play a key role in helping clients communicate more effectively with healthcare professionals and patients by modernizing their content ecosystems.

Lead discovery workshops to uncover latent client needs and translate ambiguous requirements into a structured, actionable content strategy.
Architect the future-state content operating model, defining target processes, roles, and decision rights for a global life sciences organization.
Design and implement a tiered content strategy leveraging AI capabilities to personalize messaging and optimize resource allocation across segments.
Partner with data and AI specialists to integrate advanced analytics into the content lifecycle, enhancing decision-making and operational efficiency.
Define and own key performance indicators, establishing baseline metrics and tracking transformation impact on time-to-market and quality.
Lead large-scale change management initiatives, coaching client stakeholders on new ways of working and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
Develop compelling business cases and ROI analyses to secure executive sponsorship and investment in transformation programs.
Orchestrate end-to-end implementation plans, managing timelines, dependencies, and risks for complex, multi-phase engagements.
Conduct structured capability assessments to evaluate current content maturity and identify specific gaps and opportunities.
Translate Veeva's industry cloud capabilities into tangible client value, demonstrating how Technology, Data, and AI work together within Veeva solutions.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership throughout the engagement lifecycle.
Mentor junior team members, elevating the overall capability of the delivery team through coaching, feedback, and knowledge sharing.
Leverage Veeva's modular content frameworks and Claims architecture to design flexible, reusable content assets for maximum efficiency.
Champion the adoption of AI into core content processes, ensuring clients can rapidly personalize and deliver impactful information at scale.
Requirements
You possess a Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent practical experience, demonstrating advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
You bring a minimum of eight years of progressive experience in management consulting or a closely related field, with a proven track record of delivering complex engagements.
You have at least five years of experience specifically managing and developing teams, mentoring colleagues, and leading client-facing initiatives.
You hold experience within the life sciences, healthcare, or pharmaceutical sectors, understanding the unique regulatory and operational dynamics of the industry.
You demonstrate a history of successfully driving organizational change and reshaping operating models for sophisticated clients.
You have hands-on experience with data analysis and are comfortable using insights to guide strategic recommendations and measure program effectiveness.
You exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of synthesizing complex information into clear, actionable narratives for executive audiences.
You are comfortable managing multiple, concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting high standards for delivery and quality.
Nice to have
You have direct experience implementing content strategy or lifecycle management initiatives within life sciences.
You are familiar with Veeva systems, Veeva Vault, or other life sciences-specific technology platforms.
You have a background in AI implementation or data strategy within a regulated industry context.
You hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management credentials.
You have managed budgets exceeding one million dollars for client transformation programs.
You possess deep expertise in regulatory affairs or quality systems as they intersect with content management.
Practical notes
This role may require travel up to 25% within the United States for client meetings and project work.

The position is based in our Boston, Massachusetts office, with flexibility for hybrid work arrangements in accordance with company policy.
