Veeva is actively searching for a technical product manager to spearhead the development of AI agents tailored for the Veeva Quality Cloud environment. The primary focus of this role involves transforming unstructured document content into structured, actionable data that enhances manufacturing and quality operations within the life sciences industry. You will serve as the critical link between advanced artificial intelligence capabilities and real-world enterprise quality workflows. The position requires a deep understanding of how AI agents can automate complex information extraction and mapping tasks. You will own the end-to-end product vision for AI-driven document processing solutions. Success in this role means delivering products that significantly improve data integrity and operational efficiency for customers. You will be responsible for ensuring that AI agent outputs are reliable, scalable, and aligned with strict industry requirements.

What you'll do
- Architect and deploy AI agents designed to extract, validate, and map document-derived information directly into the Veeva Quality Cloud data model.
- Orchestrate complex data flows and manage the complete lifecycle of AI agent applications, encompassing prompt engineering, tool integration, and system orchestration.
- Partner closely with UX designers and backend engineers to automate intricate business processes specific to life sciences quality management.
- Design and execute rigorous evaluations to measure AI agent performance, accuracy, and operational efficiency against defined success metrics.
- Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value propositions when demonstrating product features to internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Analyze large volumes of document-based data to identify patterns that inform the development of new AI agent behaviors and product features.
- Define and maintain product requirements that ensure AI solutions remain scalable, secure, and compliant with industry standards.
- Guide cross-functional teams in the implementation of AI agent workflows, ensuring alignment with product roadmaps and customer needs.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and frameworks to determine their applicability and potential integration into the Veeva Quality Cloud ecosystem.
- Act as the central authority on AI agent product strategy, making informed decisions that balance innovation with practical business constraints.
Requirements
- Bring a minimum of 5 years of cumulative experience in enterprise SaaS product management, software engineering, or technical consulting roles.
- Demonstrate at least 2 years of focused experience developing, managing, or implementing AI and machine learning applications in production environments.
- Show advanced proficiency in Python, including the ability to write clean, efficient code for data manipulation and system integration.
- Possess hands-on experience with modern AI frameworks and APIs, utilizing them to build practical applications.
- Exhibit a deep knowledge of Large Language Models, including their strengths, limitations, and appropriate use cases.
- Apply expertise in prompt engineering techniques to optimize AI agent behavior and output reliability.
- Understand core AI and machine learning concepts, including data preprocessing, model selection, and evaluation methodologies.
- Have direct experience integrating various AI models and managing complex data pipelines across distributed systems.
- Exercise strong judgment in algorithm selection and data flow design to ensure optimal system performance.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with both highly technical engineers and business leaders who lack technical backgrounds.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time to engage with customers and internal teams as necessary.

- Have prior experience working within the highly regulated life sciences industry, understanding its unique compliance demands.
