Key facts

What you'll do

• Spend your initial month immersing yourself in our technical workflows and analyzing user interactions with our platform to gain a comprehensive understanding.
• Take the lead on undefined problem areas by working closely with engineering and product management to conceptualize and implement effective solutions.
• Create innovative design patterns specifically for AI-driven workflows that enhance the overall quality and trajectory of our product offerings.
• Convert complex technical specifications into intuitive, functional, and high-quality user experiences that resonate with our users.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and feedback, ensuring that designs align with user needs and business goals.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design concepts and iterate based on findings.
• Develop and maintain design documentation, including style guides and design systems, to ensure consistency across the platform.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in AI and UX design to continuously improve our product.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in design, although outstanding candidates with less experience may still be considered.
• Demonstrated expertise in B2B or enterprise software design, particularly with contemporary, high-quality products akin to Linear or Vercel.
• Proven ability to design for intricate, technical, and developer-oriented systems.
• Strong understanding of AI-enhanced workflows and familiarity with current AI tools and technologies.
• A track record of innovative thinking and the introduction of new design paradigms within a team setting.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative work environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities.
• Must be located in or willing to commute to the San Francisco office three days a week.

Nice to have

• Experience working at companies known for their exceptional product craftsmanship or innovative user experience designs.
• Background in designing products that are AI-centric or targeted towards developers.
• Technical knowledge, such as a degree in Computer Science or experience in building personal projects or tools.
• A portfolio showcasing both high-level conceptual design and polished final products.

• Proficient in systems thinking and adept at framing complex problems rigorously.
• Expertise in product design and UI/UX for sophisticated B2B platforms.
• Experience in iterative prototyping and delivering high-fidelity design executions.
