You will own the complete lifecycle of new ventures and experimental products from initial concept to production deployment within Unit4. This role requires you to act as the primary advocate for the customer, ensuring that every product decision aligns with real user needs and business objectives. You will work significantly closer to the customer than is typical in many organizations, embedding yourself in their workflows to gather unfiltered insights. The position empowers you to build products that enable organizations to focus on their core mission of serving people effectively and efficiently. You will be responsible for shaping the future of our product portfolio by identifying opportunities where technology can create disproportionate value. What you'll do
Conduct discovery, definition, development, launch, and ongoing optimization to ensure long-term user adoption and value.
Partner directly with customers and prospects to uncover meaningful problems that warrant dedicated product solutions.
Translate collaborative design, prototyping, and testing insights into a sharp product definition and prioritized requirements.
Own the product backlog, release planning, and maintain a high standard of quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Work daily with designers and an AI-assisted development team to build and ship functionality that meets rigorous user standards.
Conduct co-design sessions with customers, facilitated by our user research team, to validate hypotheses and direction.
Design and run scalable discovery processes that synthesize insights from high-volume inputs like conference sessions and multi-customer workshops.
Transform large-scale research data from cohorts and workshops into clear product direction and actionable requirements.

Requirements
You must possess a proven history of managing products across the full development lifecycle, including research, definition, design, and launch.
You must have deep domain expertise within HR, finance, or project management software, with ERP knowledge being a significant advantage.
Your expertise should be sufficient to articulate specific customer personas, their pain points, and evidence of widespread need beyond isolated feedback.
You must be comfortable engaging directly with customers, designers, product marketers, and sales professionals in a collaborative environment.
A bias for action is essential, along with the satisfaction derived from seeing tangible products actively used by end-users.
You must be adept at navigating ambiguity while maintaining focus on a single product trajectory without overextension.
An understanding of how AI is reshaping customer expectations and product responsibilities is required for this modern role.
