Product Owner, Resource Planning
Unit4 is seeking a Product Owner for the Resource Planning domain to define and deliver the vision and roadmap that empowers organizations to plan, allocate, and optimize their workforce effectively. This role involves close collaboration with engineering, stakeholders, and customers to transform complex business needs into valuable product outcomes. The focus is on ensuring solutions create measurable impact across project and resource management processes.
The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of experience in product ownership, managing backlogs and user stories within Agile environments. You excel at balancing business priorities, customer needs, and technical constraints. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities are essential, along with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, UX, and Customer Success, is required. Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is necessary for clear communication.
In this role, you will set backlog priorities for workforce planning across project and resource management flows. You will own user stories and acceptance criteria that clarify needs for capacity and staffing scenarios. Translating enterprise processes into product logic for scheduling, planning, and resource allocation features will be a core responsibility. You will coordinate with engineering, UX, and customer success teams to validate solutions prior to release. Guiding sprint execution to ensure work meets business outcomes and customer expectations is critical. Verifying that product changes deliver measurable impact for project and resource management teams will guide future iterations. Partnering with global stakeholders to align requirements across regions and time zones is essential. Exploring how AI-assisted tools can enhance product management practices and delivery quality is also part of the scope.
Preferred experience includes working with ERP, Resource Planning, or Workforce Management systems and professional services workflows. Understanding of capacity planning, project execution, and scheduling processes in enterprise contexts is valuable. Familiarity with data-driven product management and analytics for measuring planning outcomes is a plus. Experience in global, distributed product organizations is beneficial. Knowledge of AI-assisted product tools and modern software delivery methods is also preferred.
