This role focuses on developing AI-powered migration tools that help users transition data, configurations, and workflows to our platform with minimal manual effort. You will work at the intersection of AI and product engineering, using coding agents to accelerate development and integrate these agents into operational processes. The goal is to create a repeatable product capability that continuously improves with each customer served. In this position, you will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and refine the user experience for complex migration scenarios. You will be responsible for translating ambiguous business problems into well-structured technical solutions that scale. What you'll do
You will design and implement backend services that power AI-driven migration workflows, ensuring high performance and reliability under varying loads. You will integrate coding agents and AI-assisted tools into the development pipeline to improve iteration speed and code quality. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and executable features. You will build reusable components and libraries that enable faster development of migration capabilities across multiple product lines. You will write comprehensive tests and perform code reviews to maintain a high standard of software quality and maintainability. You will investigate and resolve complex technical issues that arise in production migration scenarios. You will document system architecture and APIs to ensure clear communication with other engineering teams. You will experiment with new AI tooling to identify opportunities for automating repetitive development tasks. You will participate in scoping sessions to estimate effort and propose technical approaches for new migration projects. You will contribute to a culture of continuous learning by sharing knowledge about emerging AI-assisted development practices. You will monitor migration performance metrics and use data to drive improvements in the tooling. You will work with product teams to prioritize features that deliver the most value to users during migration. You will ensure that all implemented solutions adhere to security and compliance standards relevant to enterprise platforms. You will stay up to date with industry trends in AI engineering and apply relevant advancements to the migration toolset.
Requirements
You must have at least 3 years of professional experience in a software engineering role. You must demonstrate proficiency in one or more high-level programming languages such as C Sharp, Java, Python, or Rust. You must have a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and common architectural design patterns. You must possess solid knowledge of multithreading, synchronization mechanisms, and asynchronous programming techniques. You must have a deep understanding of core data structures and algorithms to solve complex problems efficiently. You must be familiar with the entire software development life cycle from requirements to deployment. You must have the ability to produce well-tested, high-quality code that meets strict reliability standards. You must show curiosity and hands-on experience with coding agents and AI-assisted development, or a strong desire to adopt these tools to accelerate development and toolkit iteration. You must be comfortable working with evolving requirements and converting ad hoc findings into structured, reusable product features. You must be able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a distributed team environment. You must have strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders. You must be comfortable using version control systems and modern software development workflows. You must be willing to learn new technologies and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced setting. You must be committed to writing clean, maintainable code that can be understood and extended by other developers. You must be able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a dynamic environment.
