Uber Freight is looking for a Logistics Account Manager I to join their growing team based in Stuttgart, Arkansas. What you'll do
- Manage a portfolio of freight accounts and maintain strong, long-term client relationships across multiple regions.
- Coordinate shipment schedules and communicate timely updates to both carriers and customers on a daily basis.
- Monitor freight deliveries to ensure on-time performance and resolve any transit issues or delays promptly.
- Process account orders and confirm critical details such as pickup times, delivery locations, and special handling requirements.
- Collaborate with operations teams to allocate capacity and plan freight movements efficiently across the network.
- Track key account metrics and report on performance trends to internal stakeholders through regular reviews.
- Handle customer inquiries and escalate complex issues to senior team members when additional support is needed.
- Assist in onboarding new carriers and verifying their credentials and documentation for platform participation.
- Support billing and invoicing processes by reviewing freight charges, identifying discrepancies, and coordinating corrections.
- Contribute to process improvements by identifying recurring challenges and proposing practical, actionable solutions to leadership.
- Work with the pricing team to review freight rates and ensure accurate quoting for customer accounts.
- Participate in team meetings to share updates on account status and discuss strategies for improving customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required for this entry-level logistics and account management position.
- At least one year of experience in freight, logistics, or customer service environments is expected.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for interacting with diverse clients on a daily basis.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency with standard office software and basic data entry applications is required for daily operations.
- Willingness to learn Uber Freight platform tools and internal process systems is essential for success.
- Attention to detail when reviewing shipment records, account documentation, and customer correspondence is important.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work a standard full-time schedule are necessary for this role.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where multiple priorities may arise throughout the workday.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States or hold valid work sponsorship documentation.
