About the role
In this role, you will be an integral part of Twilio's Global Sales Operations team, focusing on the management and optimization of Salesforce systems. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data across various Salesforce instances, including Salesforce CPQ and OLM. You will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of data quality while providing valuable insights to support the sales organization.

What you'll do
- Manage Salesforce user accounts, including setting access levels and security configurations, while serving as the primary contact for resolving complex user inquiries and troubleshooting issues across multiple Salesforce instances.
- Maintain and optimize Salesforce configurations, such as page layouts, workflows, validation rules, and approval processes, while efficiently managing support ticket queues to adhere to service level agreements.
- Perform regular data audits and investigations to enhance the quality of firmographic information, addressing any discrepancies in accordance with established protocols.
- Supervise the synchronization of Salesforce data with ERP and billing systems to streamline the order-to-cash process and ensure operational efficiency.
- Develop and document data quality standards, requirements, and rules applicable to various system environments, ensuring consistency and reliability of data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales Operations, Finance, and IT, to identify opportunities for automation and implement improvements that enhance operational workflows.
- Assist in user acceptance testing and system deployments, creating comprehensive training materials to facilitate user onboarding and ongoing education.
- Analyze data trends and provide actionable insights to support decision-making within the sales organization, ensuring that data-driven strategies are effectively implemented.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience working as a Salesforce Administrator, with a strong focus on Sales Cloud functionalities.
- An active Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM-201) is required to validate your expertise in Salesforce management.
- Demonstrated experience in assessing and improving data quality within complex system environments, showcasing your analytical skills.
- A background in supporting Sales Operations, along with a foundational understanding of data providers such as ZoomInfo, is essential.
- Proven ability to identify data risks, troubleshoot integrated system challenges, and propose effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams to achieve common goals.
Nice to have
- Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator certification, which would enhance your qualifications for this role.
- Familiarity with SQL, Heroku, or Python for data pipelining, which would be beneficial for data management tasks.
- Experience with Tableau and Tableau CRM (CRM Analytics) to support data visualization and reporting needs.
- Knowledge of Apex, Flow, SOQL, and advanced Salesforce automation techniques to further streamline processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to build effective relationships across various departments.
