About the role
You will architect and stabilize revenue operations for Truveta, owning the full quote-to-cash journey from initial intake through compliant recognition. This position serves as the company's primary expert on ASC 606, driving the technical application of complex accounting rules into reliable, automated workflows. You will partner closely with cross-functional owners to shape process design and challenge existing assumptions to improve integrity and control. A builder mindset is essential as you convert intricate subscription models into dependable processes that support scalable growth. You will orchestrate cross-functional reviews to align Sales Ops, Engineering, and Systems on unified process standards. You will automate control points and build monitoring dashboards to catch discrepancies before revenue recognition occurs. You will work closely with commercial teams to model rate changes, product structures, and book-and-report scenarios with precision. You will own test execution for new features, validating logic across the quote-to-cash pipeline before any release to production.

- Maintain strict adherence to ASC 606 recognition policies, explaining requirements to non-accountants with clarity and precision.
- Drive automation, process transformation, and systems integration across the entire quote-to-cash lifecycle to improve reliability and scalability.
- Ensure that all workflows reflect hands-on ASC 606 mastery, turning complex rules into dependable, repeatable processes.
- Support the Controller in owning and scaling the revenue accounting function with disciplined follow-through and execution.
Requirements
You hold expert ASC 606 knowledge and can explain recognition policies to non-accountants with clarity and precision.
You require 10 years of progressive revenue accounting experience, and this experience must include SaaS or subscription models.
You must have worked with CRM and billing systems, understanding deeply how data moves between platforms and supports financial reporting.
You can interpret contracts, identify performance obligations, and translate terms into correct accounting treatment under ASC 606.
You must demonstrate a consistent history of maintaining strong internal controls over financial reporting related to revenue.
You are expected to work hybrid in Seattle with required in-person attendance aligned with Pacific Time zone collaboration needs.
You should possess a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment without compromising accuracy.
You must have experience implementing and maintaining revenue recognition policies in a system of record.
You are required to have strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with finance, sales, and technical teams.
