What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable web applications and microservices using Python and React to meet evolving business needs.
• Build clean, efficient RESTful APIs and seamlessly integrate complex backend services to enable interoperability and data consistency.
• Support containerized deployments and collaborate on CI/CD pipelines within cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS) to enhance deployment reliability and speed.
• Leverage modern AI-powered development tools to optimize workflows and incorporate Generative AI capabilities and model integrations where applicable to boost productivity.
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and software design discussions to uphold high code quality and architectural standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to refine requirements, resolve dependencies, and deliver incremental value.
• Implement solutions that balance performance, security, and scalability while adhering to defined architectural patterns.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications and services to ensure reliable operation and a smooth user experience.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing to support team continuity and onboarding efforts.
• Adapt to shifting priorities and embrace ownership of tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
• Assist in maintaining and improving existing codebases to ensure long-term maintainability and technical debt reduction.
• Support the deployment and monitoring of applications in production environments to ensure uptime and performance goals.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in full stack development.
• Partner with product and design teams to translate concepts into functional, user-centric features.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software development with strong, hands-on proficiency in Python and React.
• Proven experience designing and building scalable REST APIs and microservices architectures.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred), CI/CD practices, and containerized deployments (e.g., Docker).
• Strong problem-solving skills, solid software design principles, and experience working in an Agile development setup.
• Advanced or fluent English communication skills (written and spoken) to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and global teams.
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable code and to refactor legacy systems for improved performance.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and collaborative development workflows.
• Commitment to following engineering best practices, including testing, code review, and documentation.
