What you'll do

• Oversee the entire value chain process, from procurement to delivery, ensuring operations across all stages.
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts and manage relationships, ensuring that quality standards and delivery timelines are met.
• Analyze inventory levels and forecast demand to optimize stock levels and reduce excess inventory costs.
• Implement and maintain systems for tracking and reporting on supply chain performance metrics, providing insights to management for decision-making.
• Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods, troubleshooting any issues that arise during transit.
• Work closely with the production team to align manufacturing schedules with supply chain capabilities, ensuring that production targets are met without delays.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to supply chain processes, including standard operating procedures and compliance records.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for process enhancement and implementing best practices within the value chain.
• Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts related to supply chain operations, monitoring expenditures to ensure adherence to financial targets.
• Provide training and support to team members on value chain processes and tools, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Conduct regular audits of supply chain activities to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Prepare reports for management that summarize supply chain performance, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain management or a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or logistics environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools, with a solid understanding of inventory management systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• Familiarity with procurement processes and contract negotiation is a plus.

Nice to have

• Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS, ISM) is advantageous.
• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement.
• Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs processes.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, or similar software.
