What you'll do

Collaborate with clients to assess their storage requirements and develop tailored solutions that align with their business objectives.
Design and implement storage architectures that enhance data accessibility and security while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Conduct thorough assessments of existing storage systems and recommend improvements to optimize performance and reduce costs.
Provide technical support and guidance to clients during the implementation of storage solutions, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to operations.
Monitor and analyze storage performance metrics to identify potential issues and implement proactive measures to enhance system reliability.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for storage solutions, including architecture diagrams, configuration settings, and operational procedures.
Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in storage solutions, providing insights and recommendations to clients and internal teams.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote storage solutions and contribute to the development of marketing materials and presentations.
Conduct training sessions for clients and internal staff on best practices for storage management and data protection.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to storage systems, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
Participate in project management activities, ensuring that storage solution implementations are completed on time and within budget.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor for their storage needs and challenges.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in storage solutions design, implementation, or management.
Strong understanding of storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, and cloud storage solutions.
Proficiency in data backup and recovery strategies, as well as data security best practices.
Experience with virtualization technologies and their integration with storage solutions.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated and capable of working independently.
Familiarity with relevant compliance standards and regulations related to data storage and management.

Nice to have

Certifications in storage technologies or data management (e.g., VMware, NetApp, or similar).
Experience with scripting or automation tools to streamline storage management processes.
Knowledge of emerging technologies in the storage domain, such as hyper-converged infrastructure or software-defined storage.

Skills & tools

Proficient in using storage management tools and software for monitoring and reporting.
Familiarity with project management tools to assist in tracking project progress and deliverables.
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions regarding storage solutions.
Ability to adapt to new technologies and tools as they emerge in the storage landscape.

This position is probationary, allowing both the employee and the company to assess fit and performance before transitioning to a permanent role.
