What you'll do

• Design and implement scalable web applications using modern frameworks and technologies, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate user requirements into technical specifications and functional features.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support front-end functionality and ensure seamless integration with back-end services.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and share knowledge with team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues and optimize performance, ensuring a smooth user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending improvements and innovations to enhance our product offerings.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Collaborate with DevOps to streamline deployment processes and improve system reliability and scalability.
• Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to help them grow their skills and advance their careers.
• Engage with the user community to gather feedback and insights, using this information to inform future development efforts.
• Document technical specifications and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and facilitate onboarding of new team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in full stack development, with a strong focus on both front-end and back-end technologies.
• Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js for front-end development.
• Solid experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Ruby on Rails.
• Familiarity with database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.
• Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git, and experience with collaborative development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks to enhance development efficiency.
• Knowledge of web security best practices and experience implementing secure coding practices.
• Previous experience in a startup environment, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Understanding of UX/UI principles and experience working closely with design teams to create user-friendly interfaces.
