What you'll do

Interpretation of OSHA regulations and application of Triumvirate Health and Safety practices guide on-site decisions to protect clients and sites. Regular conduct of safety equipment and hazardous waste inspections ensures conditions meet established standards. Documentation of Environmental Health and Safety audits for clients occurs when project requirements call for it. Delivery of exceptional customer service is demonstrated through outstanding support and innovative solutions aligned with the WOW commitment.

Requirements

Holding a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the hazardous-waste industry, or relevant military experience is mandatory. Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team is required for success in this role. Strong verbal and written communication supports professional interactions with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders on every engagement. Analysis of complex issues, development of solutions, and implementation of strategies achieve positive outcomes for clients. Building strong, positive relationships with clients and colleagues reflects the expected standard for collaboration. Willingness to work overtime regularly and maintain flexible hours within the Monday through Friday work week is necessary. Completion of a 2 to 3 year professional advancement program in hazardous waste management is required. Frequent handling of hazardous chemicals and biological waste requires proper use and care of personal protective equipment in this safety-sensitive position. Reporting to Frederick, MD client site locations or the Glen Burnie office within 1 hour during Emergency Response rotating shifts is required. A valid US driver's license and reliable transportation are essential for this position. Consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, a criminal background check, a pre-employment physical, and a drug screen including THC must be provided. Participation in a random drug screening program including THC upon employment supports a safe and healthy work environment.

Nice to have

Preference is given to candidates with prior relevant industry experience and prior successful experience in a customer service role. Holding an active HAZWOPER 24 or 40 hour certification and willingness to obtain a Commercial Driver's License are preferred.
