About the role
This QA/QC Specialist role supports the Casa Grande, AZ team in managing material sampling and analysis.
QA and test roles make sure software works before users see it. Testers design test cases, run manual and automated checks, and report defects. QA engineers build test frameworks that run with every release. Attention to detail and clear defect reports are the core skills. QA teams protect release quality and user trust. Most teams combine manual checks with automated suites that run on every commit.

What you'll do
Use a computerized waste tracking system to enter sample results and maintain accurate records for compliance.
Assist with waste determinations and profile management to align with regulatory standards.
Prepare outgoing sample shipments following regulations to ensure safe and compliant transport.
Apply creative problem solving to address unique issues encountered during operations.
Manage waste inventory and participate in emergency response as needed to protect site safety.
Requirements
Hold a minimum of an associate's degree in environmental science, safety, or a related degree or have 2+ years of industry or relative Military experience.
Show eagerness to learn and retain a basic knowledge of daily work practices in environmental services.
Use Word, Excel, Suite, and PowerPoint proficiently for documentation and reporting.
Demonstrate strong communication, problem solving, and relationship building skills in team settings.
Be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship and have reliable transportation.
Consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screening inclusive of THC.
Participate in a random drug screening program inclusive of THC after employment to maintain a safe work environment.
Be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis during material handling tasks.
Work overtime on a regular basis when operational needs require extended hours.
Adjust working hours within the work week, Monday through Friday, to meet facility needs.
Report to the designated office within 1 hour during Emergency Response rotating shifts.
Frequently handle hazardous chemicals and biological waste and correctly put on and take off personal protective equipment in safety-sensitive situations.
Nice to have
Bring prior relevant industry experience to accelerate proficiency in environmental services.
Hold an active HAZWOPER 24 or 40 hour certification to support safe hazardous waste operations.
Be willing to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to assist with sample and waste shipments.
