Requirements
Hold a bachelor's degree in environmental health and safety or a related field, or substitute 5-7 years of relevant experience for the degree.
Demonstrate working knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations, OSHA standards, and transportation safety regulations.
Bring experience developing and conducting training for diverse audiences.
Show excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing abilities with staff and regulators.
Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to complex, multi-site operations.
Work independently and within teams across office, field, and varied locations.
Operate effectively in office settings and field locations, including uneven terrain and variable conditions.
Interact productively with state and federal regulatory inspectors.
Use advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to manage data and prepare reports.
Maintain eligibility to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
Possess a reliable form of transportation for regional travel.
Nice to have
CSP, ASP, or similar certification.
Hands-on experience with Intelex or other health and safety management systems.
Familiarity with EH&S Management Systems aligned with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
Relevant experience in regulated industries.
Current HAZWOPER 24 or 40 hour certification.
