About the role
The Futures owns the end-to-end creation of video and motion graphics that define the brand in global markets. You are responsible for transforming complex trading concepts into clear, engaging, and visually consistent stories. This role requires you to operate with a high degree of autonomy while maintaining strict brand standards across all outputs. You will animate the brand, products, and insights, ensuring that every frame communicates precision and ambition. The environment is fast-paced, demanding agility, a decisive eye, and the ability to pivot quickly. You will not just edit content; you will shape the visual narrative that supports the company's trading infrastructure.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Edit and produce video content for social, digital, and marketing channels, covering short-form clips, long-form explainers, and brand films.
- Design and build motion graphics, animated titles, lower thirds, and other visual assets from scratch, ensuring all outputs adhere to Tradeify Futures brand standards.
- Partner with marketing, trading, and content teams to convert briefs into engaging visual narratives that resonate with target audiences.
- Oversee projects from initial planning through to final delivery, maintaining strict adherence to deadlines and quality benchmarks.
- Modify and tailor content for different audiences, respecting regional language nuances, tone, and cultural context.
- Develop and maintain a cohesive visual identity across all Tradeify Futures outputs, including social, web, and presentation formats.
- Source, manage, and integrate music, sound effects, voiceover, and licensed footage to enhance the storytelling and professionalism of each piece.
- Generate ideas that influence content strategy and visual campaigns, contributing to the evolution of Tradeify Futures' public-facing narrative.
- Catalogue and arrange all project files and media resources in a logical, accessible structure to support efficient collaboration and future reuse.
- Optimize video assets for various platforms, ensuring correct formatting, compression, and timing for maximum impact.
- Conduct quality checks on all deliverables to verify technical accuracy, visual consistency, and audio synchronization.
- Collaborate with designers and animators to create custom assets that align with campaign objectives and brand guidelines.
- Present work in progress to stakeholders, incorporating feedback while maintaining the integrity of the creative vision.
- Stay updated on trends in video production, motion graphics, and digital storytelling to continuously elevate the quality of Tradeify Futures content.
Requirements
- Hold 2 to 4 years of professional experience in video editing and motion graphics, with background in fintech, trading, media, or creative agencies being valued.
- Demonstrate expert-level skill in Adobe Premiere Pro, including advanced editing techniques, timeline management, and effects application.
- Show a strong ability to create and animate original motion graphics from the ground up, without heavy reliance on templates.
- Present a portfolio featuring edited video and motion graphics specifically for digital and social platforms, demonstrating range and technical proficiency.
- Prove you can handle several projects at once, managing competing priorities and meeting tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- Apply a firm understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and brand identity to ensure every project supports the Tradeify Futures mission.
- Communicate effectively while working remotely with teams distributed across multiple time zones, using clear language and structured updates.
- Follow instructions precisely and adhere to compliance considerations relevant to financial services and trading content.
Nice to have
- History of creating content for financial services, trading platforms, or fintech companies, demonstrating familiarity with industry terminology and compliance sensitivity.
- Skill with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma for producing static graphics that complement video campaigns.
- Knowledge of web design principles and basic front-end languages; experience with Webflow, WordPress, or similar platforms is beneficial for integrating motion assets.
- Familiarity with 3D animation software such as Cinema 4D or Blender, allowing for more complex and dynamic visual elements.
- Understanding of social-first formats like Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, and how to optimize content for these channels.
- Ability in colour correction and audio mixing to perfect final video output and ensure a polished, professional sound.
- Experience in live streaming or broadcast production environments, which can support real-time or event-driven content needs.
Practical notes
The role is a contract position available for remote work from anywhere. Successful candidates must be able to start within a reasonable timeframe as defined by project timelines. No travel is required, and there are no visa sponsorship considerations for this role.
