About the role

You will own the full lifecycle of features within the Tradeify ecosystem, translating product requirements into robust, production-ready applications. You are responsible for designing and building high-performance user interfaces while simultaneously architecting scalable backend services that power trading workflows. This role requires deep collaboration with cross-functional partners to ensure technology solutions align with trader needs and business objectives. You will troubleshoot complex issues in production, contribute to architectural decisions, and help define engineering standards as the platform grows. The work demands strong ownership, clear communication, and a bias for shipping performant solutions quickly. You will implement integrations with external trading platforms and internal systems while optimizing for speed, reliability, and user experience. Your contributions will directly impact the global trader community by enabling faster decisions and more efficient execution.

What you'll do

• Build responsive, high-performance web applications and trading interfaces that deliver a seamless experience for global traders.
• Design and develop scalable APIs, backend services, and microservices that support real-time trading operations and business logic.
• Work with databases, caching layers, and event-driven architectures to ensure data consistency, low latency, and high throughput.
• Develop integrations with third-party platforms, trading systems, and internal tools to enable smooth data exchange and workflow automation.
• Implement real-time dashboards, analytics views, and trading interfaces that provide actionable insights with minimal latency.
• Optimize for speed, reliability, and user experience across the full stack, focusing on measurable performance improvements.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical planning to define long-term technical direction and scalability strategies.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code that adheres to engineering standards and supports long-term product evolution.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes to enable reliable, frequent, and automated releases.
• Troubleshoot production issues, analyze system behavior, and improve observability to reduce downtime and accelerate resolution.
• Help shape engineering standards and best practices as the company scales and technology stack evolves.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, data, and engineering teams to align on priorities and deliver cohesive solutions.
• Evaluate and prototype new tools, frameworks, and architectures to address current limitations and future requirements.
• Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience in full-stack roles, encompassing both frontend and backend responsibilities.
• Strong frontend experience with React, Next.js, or Vue, or equivalent modern frameworks for building complex user interfaces.
• Strong backend experience with Python, Node.js, C#, or Go for implementing services and business logic.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and WebSocket services to support real-time interactions and data synchronization.
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, or MongoDB for managing structured and unstructured data at scale.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure, and containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and distributed systems to ensure reliable deployments and resilient architectures.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup-style environment while maintaining ownership and accountability.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Passion for shipping products where performance and user experience genuinely matter to traders and end users.

• Experience with TimescaleDB, ClickHouse, or high-volume data systems for handling time-series and analytical workloads.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows and engineering automation to improve productivity and code quality.
