- Participate in client meetings to understand their requirements and provide expert advice on electronic system solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
- Assist in the procurement of electronic components and materials, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness in sourcing.
- Contribute to the development of project timelines and budgets, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Engage in fieldwork as necessary, conducting installations and providing on-site support to clients during system commissioning.
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with maritime safety and environmental standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in marine electronics or a related engineering discipline.
- Strong understanding of marine communication systems, navigation equipment, and power management systems.
- Proficiency in electronic design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Altium Designer, or similar platforms.
- Experience with programming languages relevant to embedded systems, such as C, C++, or Python.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with international maritime regulations and standards, including SOLAS and MARPOL, is a plus.
- Willingness to travel for project-related assignments and client support as needed.
