What you'll do

• Lead the design process from concept through to execution, ensuring that all designs align with the overall product strategy and user needs.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions, iterating based on feedback.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design ideas and user flows.
• Collaborate with product managers to define project scopes and timelines, ensuring that design deliverables are met on schedule.
• Work closely with developers to ensure that designs are implemented accurately and efficiently, providing guidance during the development process.
• Develop and maintain a design system that promotes consistency across all products and platforms.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance our design processes and product offerings.
• Mentor junior designers, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles and improve their design skills.
• Participate in design critiques and provide constructive feedback to peers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the organization, helping to elevate the overall design quality of our products.
• Analyze user behavior and metrics to inform design decisions and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure that the visual identity of our products aligns with our brand strategy.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and outcomes.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, including usability testing and user research.
• Experience in creating responsive designs for web and mobile applications.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Nice to have

• Experience with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
