What you'll do

• Develop and maintain scalable data models that facilitate efficient data analysis and reporting across various business units.
• Collaborate with data scientists, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design and implement ETL processes to ensure data integrity and availability for analytics purposes.
• Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations that provide insights into key performance indicators and business metrics.
• Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that can inform strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in analytics engineering or a similar role, with a strong focus on data modeling and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
• Knowledge of data governance and data privacy regulations is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience with machine learning techniques and frameworks.
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
