What you'll do

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality management system that aligns with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular audits of production processes to ensure compliance with established quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to establish quality benchmarks and monitor performance against these metrics.
• Lead root cause analysis efforts for non-conformances, facilitating corrective and preventive actions to mitigate future occurrences.
• Train and mentor staff on quality assurance best practices, fostering a culture of quality awareness and accountability across the organization.
• Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for potential improvement.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with all relevant quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by utilizing methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, or other quality improvement frameworks.
• Oversee the documentation of quality processes, ensuring all records are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure that incoming materials meet quality specifications and contribute to overall product quality.
• Participate in product development projects to ensure that quality considerations are integrated from the outset.
• Act as a liaison between departments to resolve quality-related issues and promote a unified approach to quality management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the thermal management or related industry.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience in conducting audits and implementing corrective actions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in quality management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ Certified Quality Manager) is highly desirable.

Nice to have

• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and practices.
• Previous experience in a leadership role within a quality department.
• Knowledge of thermal management technologies and applications.
